Our firm’s real estate practice encompasses all aspects of real estate transactions.

Our real estate attorneys have extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of purchase and sales agreements, leases, construction and development agreements, easements, covenants and license agreements related to commercial and residential properties. Further, the attorneys of TYRK advise owners and developers on real estate and zoning issues, including matters relating to obtaining governmental approvals for subdivisions, re-zonings, special exceptions and variances.


Our attorneys also have many years of experience in creating homeowner’s associations and condominium regimes. TYRK attorneys also assist in the structuring of transactions in order for them to qualify for tax-deferred treatment pursuant to §1031 of the Internal Revenue Code. When appropriate, our professional company, Professional Intermediaries, LLC, may act as “qualified intermediary” in these tax-deferred exchanges.

Clients include buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants of commercial and residential properties. We also represent lending institutions, real estate brokers and title insurers in real estate-related matters.
